Below, you will find our recommended leveling build and talent pickup orderfor your Assassination Rogue in MoP Remix. Assassination Roguewill want to make some changes depending on whether you are engagingin Raid content, or Dungeon and Open World content, so below you will be able tofind builds for both activities.

Gems are one of the unique ways to augment your character in MoP Remix,offering offensive, defensive, and utility benefits. On this page, we list thebest gems for each type. To learn more about Gems in MoP Remix in general, checkout our dedicated page below.

• Meta Gem: Oblivion Sphere for personal DPS or Tireless Spiritto help out your fellow players.
• Cogwheel Gem: Blink
• Prismatic Gems:

  You will have a tremendous amount of stats as you start unlocking all Gemslots, and there is no single best stat to stack. Generally speaking,chase for Haste, Versatility, and Critical Strike Gems in a healthy balanceas a lot of your damage will come from Tinker Gems, which do not scale withour Mastery.

  • Lightning Rod
  • Wildfire
  • Incendiary Terror
  • Fervor
  • Sunstrider's Flourish

To keep things as simple as possible while leveling and learning the spec,use the slider to select your level, to learn a little bit more about how andwhen to use the abilities you unlocked.

Level: 1

When using our slider, note that some talents may appear sooner than youexpect them to in the rotation. This is because we have two recommended buildsabove, each taking talents at slightly different times, and sometimes entirelydifferent talents.

1. Make sure you always have Instant Poison and Crippling Poisonapplied. Sometimes, it can be beneficial to not use Crippling Poison if youdo not want to slow the enemies you are fighting. Simply right-click on the bufficon, and it will be removed.
2. Make sure you always have Deadly Poison and Crippling Poisonapplied. Sometimes, it can be beneficial to not use Crippling Poison if youdo not want to slow the enemies you are fighting. Simply right-click on the bufficon, and it will be removed.
3. Make sure you always have Deadly Poison and Numbing Poisonapplied.
4. Make sure you always have Deadly Poison, Amplifying Poison, Numbing Poison and Crippling Poison applied. Sometimes it can be beneficial to not use Crippling Poison if you do not want to slow the enemies you are fighting.Simply right-click on the buff icon, and it will be removed.
5. Use Deathmark on bosses or eliteenemies.
6. Once talented into Indiscriminate Carnage,make sure to open from stealth when fighting multiple enemies, and apply Garrote and Ruptureto all your enemies. The buff lasts 10 seconds, but you can onlycast empowered Garrote for 3 seconds after leaving stealth.
7. Use Shadow Dance on cooldown. Youcan use Ambush on single-target, spread Garrote on multipleenemies, or simply use it as a damage amplification thanks to Nightstalker.On high-health enemies, you want to refresh both your Garrote and Rupturewhile Shadow Dance is active, in order to snapshot the Nightstalkerbonus damage.
8. Use Kingsbane on single or high-prioritytargets. Use Shadow Dance right before it, so the entire Kingsbane deals10% extra damage thanks to Nightstalker.
9. Use 4+ Combo Points to keep up Slice and Diceat all times. You can use this ability while stealthed.
10. Cast Garrote from stealth. If thereare multiple enemies, use Garrote on 3 different targets (if possible).
11. Cast Ambush once from Stealth if there is only one target.
12. Use and maintain Crimson Tempest if thereare 3 or more targets.
13. Spend your Combo Points to maintain Rupture on multiple targets.
14. Cast Eviscerate to spend excessCombo Points.
15. Use Kidney Shot to spend excess ComboPoints against enemies you want to stun. Watch out for enemies that are immuneto stuns.
16. Use Shiv on bosses and enemies withvery high Health.
17. Use Envenom to spend excess ComboPoints on single-target.
18. Use Sinister Strike unless youhave 4+ Combo Points.
19. Use Mutilate unless you have 4+Combo Points.
20. Use Fan of Knives instead of Mutilate when fighting 4 or more targets.
