One of the biggest early goals you can have in Fallout 76 is finding you own fancy suit of Power Armor. But in a online experience with multiple players, how do you make sure you get yours?

In Fallout 76, you can find Power Armor Frames abandoned in various places in the world - from locked up sheds to military installations and the darkened interiors of forgotten factories. You can often find them sitting next to Power Armor Stations, just waiting to be claimed.

It's important to note two things: The person who claims the armor first gets to keep it. After you enter the frame, nobody else can steal it from you, even if you leave the suit of armor - it will belong to you, and even teleport back into your inventory if you leave it alone for a few minutes.

If you're trying to find a Power Armor Frame at a low level, you may find you are unable to enter due to the level restrictions of the armor attached to the frame. Circumvent this by manually transferring the armor plates into your inventory, leaving just the frame and the Fusion Core that powers it, and you'll be able to fully interact.

Remember - Fusion Cores are important. They power the suit, allowing you to run, use VATS and make full use of its abilities. Without power, you'll be forced to a crawl, and will likely have to stow the frame in your inventory until you find more power - which you can either craft, or even find in forgotten Fusion Core Generators found at larger buildings.

Video Guide: 6 Easy Power Armor Locations in The Forest

There are many places that Power Armor Frames can spawn in the world, and it's possible that another player might get to it first, or it may just not have spawned into the world just yet, so if you come to an area and don't find anything, you might find it later on.

See below for locations we have confirmed finding Power Armor on multiple occasions:

Morgantown Warehouse Power Armor

If you're on your way to Morgantown to complete the quest Final Departure, you may want to stop off at this abandoned building. In it, you'll find a set of Power Armor just sitting there, waiting for you to collect it! When we located this set the building was under the protection of two three Protectron, but your mileage may vary.

The Power Armor is tucked away in a corner, meaning if you simply run straight through you may miss it. Enter through the front door and proceed into the second section of the warehouse by running straight ahead. Remove any armor pieces that are too high level for you at that moment, then hop in and do some damage!

Aaronholt Homestead Power Armor

This place is a Location in the far Northwest of Appalachia near the border between The Forest and the Toxic Valley.

The location is comprised of a few farm houses and garages, as well as a large field on the east side with a granary silo and shed.

Upon inspecting the shed by the road, you may be able to see a Power Armor Frame inside the shed next to the Power Armor Station. However, the door to the shed is locked, and you can either equip a Perk Card for lockpicking - or find the key that opens it.

One of the Aaronholt family holds the key, and his body is actually nearby. Cross the farm field to the sloping hills on the north side, and you should see an open awning that may be surrounded by Bee Swarms and a hive. Below the awning is a bathtub, where lies the body of Lowell Aaronholt, holding his favorite guitar - an more importantly - the key to the shed.

Grab the key and fight off the Bee Swarms, then return to unlock the shed and claim your prize!

Point Pleasant Power Armor

This location is within the western forest region of Appalachia, home to the world famous Moth-Man Museum!

If you plan on hunting down the Moth-man during your time in the wasteland, you're going to need some fire-power. Luckily if you find yourself in Point Pleasant you wont have to go to far to find it! Once inside Point Pleasant look for the store with the sign "Bernardo's", it will have a green rusted truck out front.

Hop on top of the truck, then on to the black canopy at the front of the car to gain access to the buildings roof. Once you clear out any Scorched take the staircase pictured on the right.

On top of that roof, you will see a bridge made of plywood, walk across it then take the RIGHT path. Your new power armor will be at the end of that bridge, along with some sweet loot!

WV Lumber Co Power Armor

If you travel to the far Northwestern corner of the map you can find a lumber mill that's fiercely guarded by Super Mutants. Check the large shed closest to the train tracks that run by the lumber mill, and you may find a suit of Power Armor waiting among a few Power Armor Stations.

Kanawha Nuka-Cola Plant Power Armor

Players have reported finding a Power Armor Frame within the Kanawha Nuka-Cola Plant, which is located along the rivers in the Southwest edge of The Forest, to the west of the Poseidon Energy Plant WV-06.

The suit itself is located within the confines of the plant's interior, and players may have to lockpick the doors leading into the plant or find a key - more information will be available as we confirm

Eastern Regional Penitentiary Power Armor

This area, located just south of Grafton, features a power armor set right in the center of the main yard, along side 3 Power Armor Stations. The only challenge to grabbing this power armor is the amount of super mutants in the area. There are turrets in the guard towers to offer support, if you have the materials to repair them. Head over to the Eastern Regional Penitentiary page for a more in depth look of the area so you are prepared for the fight.

The Crosshair Power Armor

At this raider camp in the far Northwest of the Toxic Valley above the Hemlock Holes, there's a small sheltered area near a tower, and left against the rocks you may find Raider Power Armor stashed here.

Solomon's Pond Power Armor

Solomon's Pond includes a small farmhouse and pond in the central area of the Savage Divide, East of the Whitesprings Resort. Look for a large water pump at the edge of the pond and you may find Power Armor at the Power Armor station here.

Johnson's Acre Power Armor

The location known as Johnson's Acre is a quiet shack on the far southeast edge of the Savage Divide overlooking the Cranberry Bog. Look for a large rocky peak next to the house to find a Raider Power Armor left abandoned overlooking the valley below.

Ripper Alley Power Armor

Ripper Alley is a small raider camp located along the road south of the West Tek Research Center in the Savage Divide. Head into the camp and look along the makeshift fortifications by the cave and you might find Power Armor waiting here.

Firebase LT Power Armor

The Firebase LT is one of the small broken military camps at the northern edge of the Cranberry Bog. You may be able to find unused Power Armor standing at the edge of the camp by a large tent.
